A Closer Look: The Supreme

Born only once every thousand years, a Supreme has the ability to use every class of sorcerer spells. They are discovered by the coming of age test known as the Habepert. When a Supreme comes in contact with the Rock of Affiprob the center gem will hover around them before glittering down from above them. A beautiful sight before the rugged training begins. Having the ability to do any spell comes with the workload of all other classes. Meaning, they must study under every core for a number of years. This depending on how fast the person can learn. Primary care and teaching of the individual fall under the responsibility of the head Scroll Keeper of the Mages; decided so after the Wizard’s War as an agreement between the dragons and sorcerers. With a teacher that has such big heart, many Supreme’s have had the personality of a kind soul more often than not. Those who do become rotten cause massive mayhem to the world of Magitotum. Such a perfect example is the witch Delsey. With her reign on the throne, she has wrought great pain upon the land. However, one cannot help but marvel at some of the spells she has accomplished. One of the most known is the magical scar put on the Omni Xerxes. Though he will never tell the name of the affliction, it forces him to relive past horrors at any time by the whim of the user. It also provides the spell caster to show possible futures to the victim; causing said individual to experience extreme anxiety and stress in any situation. Not much else known about this particular affliction, but it is the first seen by all in the lands of Magitotum. What else can these Supremes do? Only time will tell.

Item Inquiry: Mage’s Staff

Using their staffs, Mages can focus their magic into the physical pane. The look of these items differ from user to user. Some have it made of many items, such as a cluster of pencils, while others like a classic wooden or even a solid metal design. Whatever the case one element stays the same, at the top of the pole is a gem. This crystal is taken from the Rock of Affiprob from the sorcerer’s Habepert. Almost all their spells stem from this gem as they form shields and heal wounds. Never try to snap on of these enchanted items. When an idiot does this; a shock wave obliterates them and any around the surrounding area.

Item Inquiry: Amulet of Tawala

A small golden medallion of a cat’s face with elongated ears, its eyes glows green when it uses its powers. This object allows the wearer to control anyone who looks at it directly, among some other abilities still yet to be discovered. It was recovered after the fall of the Pharaoh Tandaa and given to the Racconto to store. The mad man attempted to control all Hadithi following the Wizard’s War. He was stopped by an alliance formed between the genies, the people of the region of Uchawi, and some rogue sorcerers from Mendaxum. They decided it was best to leave the former rulers body with his people in the region of Kunyoosha, but the medallion they needed to be sent as far away as possible.

Item Inquiry: Node Portal System

In the land of Mendaxum, a common form of traveling for sorcerers is the Node Portal System. What is this you ask? A simple design and concept, it starts with the node. A node is a circular pad with veins of magic that stem from a center gem. These are usually placed inside homes, business, and common public places. The pad resonates to a specific node stone designated by the user. The said stone is a small rock with incantations written upon it. In the center is a glowing gem that resonates to a host node. When one wants to get to the specific pad, they only have to think about their destination and use one finger to rub around the center gem in a circle. As they do this, they must touch each of the incantations written upon the stone or it will not work. A clever tool to cut down the commute time in the busy land of Mendaxum.

A Closer Look: The Pass of Discidium

Over the rolling waves one faces many dangers upon the ocean known as Moana, but one of the most devious is found not within it. Between the high cliffs of Fabulum, Spiegel, and Graecia there lies a curse that strikes seafarers. This magic was place by sorcerers in Graecia in order to protect their land from a Northern invasion. The spell itself causes groups to turn on one another by using their raw emotions to bubble over. Why can this be bad? Even if the individual is mad at another for just stubbing their toe earlier, the curse can cause them to be so mad to the point of murder. An invasion force would cut themselves down without the Graecian people having to lift a sword. Terrifying to say the least, but there is one way to avoid this fate. If the group relays all their frustrations to one another before entering the pass, they will be free from the spell’s effect. However, this fact is not widely known by all leaving most travelers to perish at sea in this forsaken pass.
